**FUTURE STARS** Program will BEGIN April 9th, Wednesday at the
Clough Methodist Fields at Clough & Wolfangel (just off Beechmont Ave.).
The spring pre-season has been very wet thus far and we had to move our
program back one week simply because we cannot train & play on water
logged fields.
We will train & play each Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. All players should
wear shin guards & soccer cleats. You can purchase both at a very reasonable cost
at many stores you do not have to purchase an expensive set by any means
just something comfortable for the children. Also the players will
need a size 3 ball to train with at home and at practice. Again you
can find these very reasonable as well.
The main goals in the Developmental Program is to introduce the game of
soccer, teach skills needed to play the game, play small sided games in a
FUN setting and nurture the love & passion for the game. All are very
important to the Development Program we want the players to return to us each week
looking forward to playing once again with their friends, eager to learn and
again have fun in the process.
The cost for all training, fields, uniforms (2 shirts & shorts, we just ask
you purchase white soccer socks) and small sided games is $100.00 total for
the season. The club would like to collect this from everyone at the first session
on April 9th. If you need to make 2 payments of $50.00 please email me to
let me know.
